When to Replace

  • Water is observed leaking from the dishwasher door.
  • The existing gasket is visibly torn, cracked, brittle, or deformed.
  • The door no longer seals tightly when closed.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the dishwasher from its power source before starting the repair.
  • Remove the old gasket by pulling it out of the channel.
  • Clean any debris or residue from the gasket channel.
  • Press the new gasket firmly into the channel, starting at the top center and working down both sides.
  • Do not stretch the gasket during installation.
  • After installation, shut the door for several hours to help the gasket conform and seat properly.
