Compatibility & Fitment

• Inlet Connection: Female POL (CGA 510), fits 5 lb to 100 lb propane tanks with male POL valves.
• Outlet Connection: Male QCC1/Type 1 (ACME thread) and Female POL (internal left-hand thread).
• Connects to regulators, hoses, and appliances equipped with a QCC1/Type 1 large plastic nut.

When to Replace

• Gas leaks are detected at the connection points after proper tightening.
• Threads on the adapter or tank are stripped, damaged, or corroded.
• The integrated pressure gauge is broken, stuck, or provides no reading.
• A secure, sealed connection can no longer be achieved by hand.

Installation Tips

• Ensure the propane tank service valve is completely closed before starting.
• Screw the adapter's female POL fitting counter-clockwise (left-hand thread) into the tank valve until hand-tight.
• Attach the appliance's QCC1/Type 1 regulator or hose to the adapter's external male threads clockwise (right-hand thread) until hand-tight.
• Slowly open the tank valve. Apply a soapy water solution to all connections to check for leaks; bubbles indicate a leak.
• Note that the pressure gauge will read in the "green" or "full" zone until the tank is almost empty, as it measures pressure, not liquid volume.
