Compatibility & Fitment

Fits select 18-inch chainsaws from brands including Craftsman, Echo, Homelite, Husqvarna, Poulan, Ryobi, and Stihl.
Important:Always verify your saw's required specifications. Match the pitch (3/8" LP), gauge (0.050"), and drive link count (62) to the numbers stamped on your guide bar or listed in your owner's manual.

When to Replace

  • Cutters are worn down and too short to be sharpened effectively.
  • Multiple damaged or broken cutters, tie straps, or drive links are present.
  • The chain has stretched beyond the tensioning adjustment limit.
  • The saw produces fine sawdust instead of coarse wood chips, even after sharpening.
  • Excessive force is required to make a cut.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the spark plug or remove the battery before starting work.
  • Install the chain with cutters facing forward on the top of the bar.
  • Tension the chain properly: it should be snug against the bar but still pull away slightly by hand.
  • Re-check and adjust tension after the first 10 minutes of use as new chains can stretch.
  • Ensure the chain brake is disengaged during installation.
  • Always wear gloves and appropriate safety gear.
