When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Shut off the water supply and flush the toilet to drain the tank.
• Remove the old flapper by unhooking the chain and detaching the flapper from the flush valve pegs.
• Install the new flapper onto the flush valve pegs.
• Attach the new chain to the flush lever arm.
• Adjust the chain length to have approximately 1/2 inch of slack when the flapper is closed.
• Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks and proper flush action.
