  • Materials: Stainless steel head with a solid wood handle.
  • Basket: Includes one non-pressurized double shot filter basket.
  • Size: 54mm diameter head.
  • Handle: Ergonomically shaped for a comfortable grip.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Serves as an upgrade or direct replacement for standard 54mm spouted portafilters supplied with compatible espresso machines.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Designed for espresso machines with a 54mm group head.
  • Breville / Sage Models: Barista Express, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Barista Touch Impress, Bambino Plus, Infuser, Duo-Temp Pro.
  • Note: Not compatible with 58mm group head models.

When to Replace

  • To diagnose and correct extraction issues such as channeling and uneven distribution.
  • To improve consistency and quality of espresso shots.
  • When the original spouted portafilter is lost or damaged.
  • For a direct visual evaluation of the tamping and grinding process.

Installation Tips

  • Insert into the group head and lock into position, similar to the original manufacturer's portafilter.
  • A finer grind setting may be required compared to a spouted portafilter to achieve proper pressure.
  • Ensure the filter basket is seated correctly inside the portafilter before dosing with coffee.
  • The fit may feel tighter than the original portafilter initially; this is normal.
