When to Replace

Installation Tips

  • Turn off the water supply valve and flush to empty the tank.
  • Remove the old flapper by unhooking its chain and detaching it from the overflow tube posts.
  • Install the new flapper by clipping it onto the flush valve posts.
  • Attach the chain to the flush lever arm, leaving 1-2 links of slack.
  • Turn the water supply back on and check for a proper seal and flush cycle.
