Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits select chainsaws from brands including Craftsman, Echo, Homelite, Husqvarna, Poulan, Remington, Ryobi, and Stihl.
  • Compatible with models requiring a 16-inch bar and a chain matching these specifications: 3/8" LP Pitch, 0.050" Gauge, and 56 Drive Links.
  • Always verify the specifications stamped on your guide bar or in your owner's manual before purchase.

When to Replace

  • Chain produces fine sawdust instead of coarse wood chips.
  • Increased force is needed to push the saw through the cut.
  • The saw pulls to one side, resulting in a crooked cut.
  • Visible damage, such as broken or cracked cutters, tie straps, or drive links.
  • The chain cannot be tensioned correctly or frequently loosens.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the spark plug before performing any maintenance.
  • Ensure the chain cutters are oriented in the correct direction of rotation on the bar.
  • Adjust to the proper tension: The chain should be snug against the bar but can still be pulled around by hand.
  • Lubricate the new chain and guide bar thoroughly before first use.
  • Re-check and adjust tension after a few minutes of initial operation, as new chains will stretch.
