Compatibility & Fitment
Fits select Mazda 3 and Mazda 3 Sport applications from 2019 through 2025, Mazda CX-30 applications from 2020 through 2025, and select Mazda CX-50 applications from 2023 through 2025. Verify the vehicle year, model, engine, and original filter numbers before ordering because fitment is not exhaustive for every application.
When to Replace
Replace the filters at the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended interval. The supplied maintenance guidance recommends replacement every 12,000–15,000 miles or every 12 months. A clogged engine filter can restrict airflow, while a loaded cabin filter can reduce HVAC airflow and affect interior air quality. Shorter intervals may be appropriate in dusty, polluted, or high-pollen driving conditions.
Installation Tips
- Confirm both original filter part numbers and compare the old filters with the replacement dimensions before installation.
- Install the engine air filter in the airbox with the sealing edge seated evenly and the housing fully closed.
- Install the cabin air filter in the HVAC filter tray in the airflow direction marked on the filter.
- Remove loose dust and debris from each housing without allowing contamination into the intake or HVAC system.
- Check the owner’s manual for the exact access procedure and airflow direction for your vehicle.
