When to Replace

• Propane smell is present near the regulator or hose assembly.

Installation Tips

• Ensure the propane tank valve and all appliance control knobs are in the "OFF" position before installation.
• Connect the QCC1 black nut to the tank valve by turning clockwise until hand-tight; do not use a wrench on the plastic nut.
• Use a 5/8" or adjustable wrench to secure the 3/8" female flare nut to the appliance inlet; do not use thread sealant (teflon tape) on flare fittings as the metal-to-metal contact creates the seal.
• After connecting, open the tank valve slowly to prevent the internal excess-flow safety device from tripping.
• Perform a leak test by applying a mixture of soap and water to all connections; if bubbles form, tighten the connections and re-test.
