Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Universal aftermarket replacement for stock or existing hand grips on motorcycles equipped with 7/8-inch handlebars.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Handlebar Diameter: Fits standard 7/8-inch (22mm) handlebars
  • Throttle System: Compatible with twist throttle applications
  • Vehicle Types: Suitable for most street bikes, sport bikes, choppers, scooters, and cruisers with 7/8-inch bars
  • Exclusion: Not designed for use with ATV or PWC thumb throttles

When to Replace

  • Visible damage such as cracking, tearing, or hardening of the rubber material
  • Reduced traction or a slippery feel, especially in wet conditions
  • Grip spins freely on the handlebar or throttle tube
  • Increased hand fatigue or vibration felt from the handlebars

Installation Tips

  • Remove old grips and any residual adhesive from the handlebar and throttle tube.
  • Clean the mounting surfaces with a solvent to ensure they are free of oil and debris.
  • Apply a small amount of grip adhesive or rubbing alcohol to the inside of the grip for lubrication during installation. Avoid oil-based lubricants.
  • Slide the new grips into position. Ensure the throttle-side grip does not bind and allows the throttle to return freely.
  • Allow adhesive to cure completely as per the manufacturer's instructions before operating the motorcycle.
