When to Replace

  • Visible cracks, chips, or significant wear on the head housing.
  • Failure of the bump-feed mechanism to advance line.
  • Worn-out line eyelets causing premature line breakage.
  • Excessive vibration during operation that is not related to the engine.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.
  • Insert a locking pin or small screwdriver into the designated hole on the gear head to prevent the shaft from turning.
  • Unscrew the old trimmer head by turning it clockwise.
  • Screw the new trimmer head on counter-clockwise until it is hand-tight.
