Description

10-112-00 Pool Cleaner UWF Restrictor Disk Red and Blue

Key Features

  • Includes one red and one blue restrictor disk for water flow regulation.
  • Designed to calibrate cleaner wheel speed for optimal performance.
  • Red disk features a smaller orifice to decrease water flow.
  • Blue disk features a larger orifice to increase water flow.
  • Helps achieve the recommended 28-32 wheel revolutions per minute (RPM).

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • 10-112-00

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits Zodiac Polaris pressure-side pool cleaner models: 180, 280, 380, 480 PRO, 280 TankTrax, and 3900 Sport.
  • Installs into the universal wall fitting (UWF) that connects the cleaner hose to the pool wall.

When to Replace

  • If the pool cleaner's wheels are spinning too quickly or too slowly.
  • When the existing restrictor disk is lost, cracked, or damaged.
  • After changes to the pool's plumbing or booster pump that affect water pressure.

Installation Tips

  • First, time your cleaner's wheel for one minute to determine its RPM. The target is 28-32 RPM.
  • If wheel RPM is above 32, install the red disk to reduce water pressure.
  • If wheel RPM is below 28, install the blue disk to increase water pressure.
  • If the RPM is still below 28 with the blue disk installed, run the cleaner with no restrictor disk in the wall fitting.
