Description

11-Speed High-Performance Bicycle Chain

Key Features

  • Optimized Shifting Performance:Features precision-engineered bridge plates and chamfered edges to ensure quiet, smooth gear transitions under load.
  • Enhanced Durability:Constructed from high-tensile alloy steel with hardened pins to resist "stretching" and prolong the life of your drivetrain components.
  • Anti-Rust Protection:Treated with a specialized surface coating to prevent corrosion and oxidation, making it suitable for all-weather riding.
  • Tool-Free Installation:Includes an 11-speed quick-release link for secure connection and easy removal during maintenance or cleaning.
  • Lightweight Design:Material has been strategically removed from the plates to reduce rotational weight without compromising structural integrity.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Size Specification:1/2 x 11/128 Inch
  • Length:116 Links
  • Chain Type:11-Speed (MTB / Road / Gravel / CX)

Compatibility & Fitment

This chain is designed for universal compatibility across major 11-speed drivetrain systems. It is suitable for:
  • Shimano:Compatible with 105, Ultegra, Dura-Ace (Road) and SLX, XT, XTR (MTB) 11-speed groupsets.
  • SRAM:Fits Rival, Force, Red (Road) and NX, GX, X1, X01, XX1 (MTB) 11-speed systems.
  • Campagnolo:Suitable for Potenza, Chorus, Record, and Super Record 11-speed drivetrains.
  • Bike Types:Engineered for Mountain Bikes (MTB), Road Racing, Gravel, Cyclocross, and Hybrid bicycles.

When to Replace

  • Measured Elongation:If a chain checker tool indicates wear at or above 0.75%, the chain should be replaced to avoid wearing out the cassette and chainrings.
  • Skipping Gears:The chain "jumps" or slips over gear teeth when applying heavy pedal pressure.
  • Inflexible Links:Presence of "stiff links" that do not bend freely, causing the derailleur to jump during the pedal stroke.
  • Visible Corrosion:Significant rust or pitting that cannot be removed with cleaning and lubrication.
  • Noisy Drivetrain:Excessive grinding or metallic clicking sounds that persist after proper indexing and lubrication.

Installation Tips

  • Sizing the Chain:Use a chain breaker tool to remove excess links. The most accurate method is matching the length of your previous chain or using the "Large-Large" method plus two links.
  • Quick Link Orientation:Ensure the arrow on the quick link points in the direction of the chain's forward travel.
  • Link Engagement:Once the quick link is inserted, apply pressure to the pedals while holding the rear brake to "snap" the link into its locked position.
  • Initial Lubrication:While the chain comes with a factory coating, it is recommended to apply a quality 11-speed lubricant and wipe off the excess before the first ride.
  • Directional Check:Some chains are directional; verify if logos should face outward (away from the spokes) for optimal shifting.
