  • Includes: PG9 adapter for pilot burner connection

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Series: TP-75

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Designed for gas appliances with standing pilot ignition systems
  • Compatible with gas control valves requiring a 2-wire thermopile with a 250-750 MV output
  • The PG9 adapter facilitates connection to various pilot burner assemblies

When to Replace

  • Pilot light fails to remain lit after the control knob is released
  • Measured millivolt output is low or non-existent
  • Main burner does not ignite or operates intermittently
  • Visible signs of damage, corrosion, or burning on the thermopile tip or leads

Installation Tips

  • Ensure the gas supply to the appliance is shut off before beginning installation
  • Position the thermopile tip so it is fully engulfed in the pilot flame for maximum voltage generation
  • Connect the two spade leads securely to the designated "TH" and "TP" terminals on the gas valve
  • Use the PG9 adapter to mount the thermopile to the pilot burner assembly
  • After installation, turn the gas supply back on and check all connections for leaks with a soap solution
