When to Replace

  • Engine fails to crank or start
  • Power is intermittent to the electrical system
  • Key is loose, broken, or will not turn properly
  • No "click" or response when turning the key to the start position
  • Visible corrosion or damage to switch terminals

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation.
  • Photograph the wiring harness connection to the old switch for reference.
  • Ensure the replacement switch is securely seated in the dash panel.
  • Confirm all pins are correctly aligned and the connector is fully seated.
  • Reconnect the battery and test all key positions before operating the machine.
