When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Ensure the propane tank valve is completely closed before installation.
• Hand-tighten the QCC1 connector to the propane tank. Do not use tools on this connection.
• Use an appropriate wrench to secure the 3/8-inch flare fitting to the appliance's inlet for a tight seal.
• If using the NPT adapter, apply sealant tape to the male NPT threads only. Do not use tape on flare fittings.
• After all connections are made, open the tank valve slowly and check all joints for leaks using a soapy water solution before lighting the appliance.
