When to Replace

• Existing valve is leaking fuel from the body, handle, or connections.
• Valve body is cracked, brittle, or shows signs of physical damage.

• Valve fails to completely stop or permit the flow of fuel.

Installation Tips

• Work in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.
• Use a clamp on the fuel line upstream of the valve or drain the fuel tank to prevent spills.
• Note the fuel flow direction arrow on the new valve and install it pointing towards the carburetor.
• Position the included clamps approximately 1/4 inch from the end of the hose on each nipple for a secure fit.
• After installation, check for leaks before starting the engine.
