When to Replace

  • When existing shoes are cracked, broken, or excessively worn
  • If the auger housing or scraper bar makes direct contact with the ground
  • When proper ground clearance can no longer be maintained

Installation Tips

  • Position the snow thrower on a flat, level surface
  • Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire for safety
  • Remove the hardware securing the old slide shoes
  • Install the new shoes using the original bolts and nuts
  • Adjust shoe height to set the desired clearance between the scraper blade and the clearing surface
