When to Replace

  • A single, loud click is heard when turning the key, but the engine does not crank.
  • The engine fails to start intermittently.
  • No sound or response from the starter motor when the ignition key is turned.
  • The starter motor continues to run after the engine has started and the key is released.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable before starting the replacement.
  • Carefully note or photograph the wiring configuration before removing the old solenoid.
  • Clean all electrical connection points, including battery cables and terminals, to ensure good contact.
