Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

Serves as a reusable replacement for any standard 150A single-use fuse (such as ANL or MAXI style fuses) when used with an appropriate fuse holder. Direct replacement for surface-mount 150A circuit breakers with identical voltage ratings and stud terminal configuration.

Compatibility & Fitment

Designed for overcurrent protection in high-current 12V to 48V DC systems. Common applications include:
  • Automotive and car audio amplifier systems
  • Marine electrical systems, trolling motors, and winches
  • Recreational vehicles (RV) and auxiliary battery setups
  • Solar power systems and battery banks
  • Heavy-duty industrial equipment

When to Replace

  • Existing breaker fails to trip during an overload or short-circuit event.
  • Nuisance tripping occurs under normal, rated current loads.
  • The manual reset lever is broken, loose, or will not stay in the "ON" position.
  • Visible signs of damage, such as a cracked housing or severe corrosion on terminals.
  • As an upgrade from a standard 150A fuse to a resettable circuit protection device.

Installation Tips

  • Always disconnect the battery or power source before starting installation.
  • Install the breaker as close to the power source as possible to protect the main power wire.
  • Ensure wire-to-terminal connections are secure using properly crimped ring terminals to prevent overheating.
  • Use a wire gauge appropriately sized for a 150A load to avoid voltage drop and fire risk.
  • Do not use the manual trip lever as a routine power switch.
