When to Replace
- The existing weir door is cracked, broken, or missing.
- The door no longer floats correctly due to waterlogged foam.
- The pivot pins are broken, preventing free movement.
- Debris frequently escapes the skimmer and returns to the pool.
Installation Tips
- Turn off the pool pump before installation.
- Remove any remnants of the old weir door.
- Insert one pin of the new weir door into the corresponding hole in the skimmer body.
- Gently flex the weir door to align and insert the second pin into the opposite hole.
- Ensure the door swings freely before restarting the pump.
