When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Turn off the pool pump and relieve all system pressure before installation.
• Wrap the male threads with PTFE tape 3-4 times in a clockwise direction for a proper seal.
• Attach the flexible hose to the smooth barb and secure it with a stainless steel hose clamp.
• Hand-tighten the threaded connection, then use a wrench for a final 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Do not overtighten.
• Ensure the gasket or o-ring on the receiving female port is clean and in good condition.
