Compatibility & Fitment

  • Designed for Echo straight shaft trimmers.
  • Direct fit for models: SRM-225, SRM-230, SRM-210, SRM-2100, PAS-225.
  • Note: Does not fit curved shaft trimmers.
  • This head does not include any adapters.

When to Replace

  • Existing head is cracked, broken, or excessively worn.
  • Line advance mechanism no longer functions correctly.
  • Trimmer line eyelets are damaged, causing frequent line breaks.
  • Upgrading from a fixed-line or less efficient head style.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.
  • Lock the trimmer shaft to prevent rotation during removal and installation.
  • Most trimmer heads have a left-hand thread; turn clockwise to loosen and remove the old head.
  • Thread the new head on by turning it counter-clockwise until secure.
