SPX0715D Pool Valve Seat Gasket

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits Hayward Vari-Flo multiport valve models SP0715 and SP0716.
  • Fits Hayward Pro Series top-mount sand filter valve model S220T2.
  • Compatible with select Hayward HCF series filters.

When to Replace

  • Water is leaking out of the backwash or waste port while in filter mode.
  • The existing gasket is visibly cracked, brittle, flattened, or deformed.
  • Difficulty turning the valve handle or achieving a proper seal.
  • During routine multiport valve servicing or rebuilds.

Installation Tips

  • Turn off the pool pump and relieve system pressure before disassembly.
  • Thoroughly clean the valve body groove where the gasket sits, removing any old adhesive or debris.
  • A small amount of gasket-safe lubricant or adhesive can aid in holding the gasket in place during reassembly.
  • Ensure the gasket is seated evenly and fully in the groove before reinstalling the valve top.
