Installation Tips

  • Before installation, disconnect the spark plug wire for safety.
  • Shut off the fuel valve and safely drain any remaining fuel.
  • Photograph the linkage and fuel line connections on the old carburetor before removal to ensure correct reassembly.
  • Always use new gaskets during installation to prevent leaks.
  • Inspect the fuel lines and fuel filter for damage or blockages and replace if necessary.
  • After installation, minor adjustments to the idle or mixture screws may be required for optimal performance.
