  • Titan Pro TRMJ270
  • Replaces any start capacitor with matching capacitance (270-324 MFD) and voltage (330 VAC or higher) specifications.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Designed for intermittent duty cycles in single-phase AC motor starting circuits.
  • Commonly used in HVAC units, pool pumps, well pumps, and other electric motor applications.
  • This is a start capacitor and cannot be used as a replacement for a run capacitor.

When to Replace

  • Motor hums but does not start or struggles to start.
  • Circuit breaker trips at motor startup.
  • Visible signs of damage to the old capacitor, such as bulging, cracking, or leaking fluid.
  • The motor starts slowly or requires manual assistance to get started.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect all electrical power to the unit before servicing.
  • Safely discharge the old capacitor by shorting the terminals with an insulated screwdriver.
  • Ensure the replacement capacitor's microfarad (uf/MFD) rating is within 10% of the original part.
  • The voltage rating of the replacement capacitor must be equal to or greater than the original.
  • Professional installation is recommended.
