Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits a wide range of gas grills from brands including Broil King, Broil-Mate, Charbroil, Jenn Air, Kenmore, Kmart, Master Chef, and Sterling.
  • Specific Broil King models include (but not limited to): 9211-54, 9211-57, 9215-54, 9215-57, 9453-64, 9453-67, 9455-84.

When to Replace

  • Ignitor does not produce a spark when the button is pressed.
  • Spark is weak or intermittent, failing to light the burner.
  • The push button is physically broken, stuck, or unresponsive.
  • Visible damage, such as cracks or corrosion, on the module body.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the gas supply from the grill before beginning installation.

  • Install the battery with the correct polarity as indicated on the module.
  • Ensure the electrode wires are securely connected to the module outlets.
  • Test for a consistent spark at the electrode tip before reassembling the grill and connecting the gas.
