When to Replace

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning work.
  • Photograph or label the wire connections on the old switch before removal.
  • Match the terminal positions of the new switch to the old one before connecting wires.
  • Ensure the mounting nut is secure but not over-tightened to prevent damage to the switch body.
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal last.
