- Pulley Bearings: Make sure they spin freely, as damaged bearings can increase friction and wear

- Pulleys Edges: Rust or sharp edges can cause belt damage

- Pulley Grooves: Clean debris from the pulley grooves

- Tensioner Spring: A weak spring can lead to belt slippage and increased friction

1. Remove the ignition key and spark plug wire(s) to prevent starting.

2. Disengage the blades, brackets, and blade cable to remove the deck.

3. Release the drive belt from idler pulleys, belt guides, and the transaxle pulley.

4. Reinstall with our new part. Check to ensure it's properly running.
