When to Replace

  • The washer agitates and pumps but will not spin.
  • The existing seal is visibly cracked, worn, or damaged.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the washer from all power and water supplies before beginning the installation.
  • Thoroughly clean the tub and transmission shaft surfaces where the new seal will be installed.
  • Ensure the seal is seated evenly and correctly to prevent future leaks.
  • It is often recommended to inspect and replace the tub bearing at the same time as the seal.
