When to Replace

  • Humidifier fails to produce humidity due to lack of water flow.
  • Water continuously runs or leaks from the valve when closed.
  • Valve produces a loud buzzing or humming sound but does not open.
  • Visible cracks, corrosion, or damage to the valve body or electrical connections.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect power to the furnace and shut off the water supply before starting.
  • Note the orientation of the old valve and install the new one in the same direction of water flow.
  • Use pipe thread sealant on male threads for a leak-free connection. Do not overtighten.
  • After installation, turn the water supply back on and check for leaks before restoring power.
